My Four Favourite Mac Lipsticks

Hello everyone!

In this blogpost I am going to talk about my favourite Mac lipsticks.

Mac Syrup (A43):
This is a lovely natural lip colour. This was my first Mac lipstick given to me by my Mom a few years ago and I wore it all the time! I don't wear it as much anymore but it's definitely a great lipstick shade if you want to go for a simple, natural look. It is a "Lustre" lipstick.

Mac Lickable (A84):
This is a bold colour for when you are feeling brave! It is a bright pink, perfect to add a pop of colour to an outfit. I wore this at my sisters wedding and it went perfect with the dark purple bridesmaids dresses. It is a perfect colour for summer. It is a "Cremesheen" lipstick.

Mac Fanfare (A94):
This is my second favourite mac lipstick! It is natural but a bit more pigmented than syrup. It's a lovely shiny, pale pink and looks perfect with any makeup look. It is a "Cremesheen" lipstick. It goes well with the Mac Pro Longwear lip pencil in the shade "In control".

Mac Velvet Teddy (37):
This is by far my favourite Mac lipstick! It is rumoured to be used by a lot of celebrities including Kylie Jenner. It is a beautiful brown nude and the Matte finish is just divine. I use this almost everyday and I make sure not to leave the house without popping it into my handbag! It is a "Matte" lipstick. This works best with the Mac lip liner in the shade "Whirl".

So there are my Four Favourite Mac lipsticks! I know Mac lipsticks can be a bit expensive but they are definitely worth the price. They are approximately €20 each. They are long lasting and my favourite thing about them is that they smell like toffee!

Thanks for reading!
I hope this gave you some tips on what lipstick to buy next.

When in Rome!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

I recently traveled to rome on a family holiday and I would love to share my experience with you and give you ideas on what you could do when you go to Rome!

Our accomadation was very close to the Colosseum so we were able to see it every day when we went out and about around Rome! I found this incredible because I learnt about the colosseum in history class and it was amazing to see it in real life.

On the first day we went around Rome to find our bearings and looked at all the fantastic buildings. We visited the Colloseum and went out for dinner that night in a restaurant called "La Tavernelle". I ordered pasta Carbonara there and it was very nice. There was an amazing icecream shop across from our accomadation called "Il Gelatone". It was a reasonable price and in my opinion the best icecream I had while in Rome!

On the second day we went to the Vatican City. The Vatican City is a big area so you need to take a day to visit it if you really want to enjoy yourself. The Vatican City is not walking distance from the center of Rome so we took a train there. When we arrived there was a que a mile long but we booked our tickets online before we got there so we were able to just walk in! If you don't prebook your tickets be prepared to que for at least 2 hours! They have a strict dress code so make sure you were long pants and have your shoulders covered. The Vatican City was incredible and I loved being able to see the ceiling of the Sistine chapel painted by Michaelangelo. We also saw St. Peter's Basilica. I definitely recommend giving the Vatican City a visit!

On the third day we went to the Trevi Fountain. I was most excited to see this as it was in a lot of movies based in Rome. Apparently if you throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain you are guaranteed to return to Rome. If you ever visit Rome go to this Fountain and make a wish! It looked even better in real life than in the movies! It was definitely worth the visit.

We also saw the Roman Forum. It was amazing. My favourite chapter in history was Ancient Rome so I loved going sightseeing on this holiday!

On the fourth day we went around the shops. There were streets with shops like Zara and Sephora but there were also a lot of expensive shops too! One of the streets had shops like Prada and Valentino. I think Rome is an amazing city for shopping! Near the shops there is a big building called "Altare della Patria". This building was incredible and stuck with me the most! The people living in Rome nickname it "Wedding cake" because they think it looks like a cake!

On the fifth day we visited the Pantheon. We went inside and it was worth the visit. There is a hole in the ceiling to let in light and at Christmas, if it snows it snows inside the building! We visited an icecream shop that is meant to be the best in Rome called "Giolitti" and I must say the icecream was amazing! That afternoon we went to a park for a walk and it was beautiful there. There was a lake where you could rent a boat and you could also rent bikes.

On the sixth day we went to a town on the other side of the river Tiber. It was called "Trastevere". We went to a well know pizza restaurant there called "Dar Poeta". It was difficult to find and a couple from America were also trying to find it! It is known to sell the best pizza in Rome and I would have to agree with this statement!

I hope this helps anyone is who is hoping to travel to Rome. Going to Rome was an amazing experience and I hope I visit it again some day!

I was very happy with the body scrub. It leaves your skin feeling very soft after you apply it. It also has the same amazing scent as the body wash. I will definitely be buying more when I run out!

Top Ten Christmas movies ❄️❤️

Hello everybody,

It's that time of year again! With Christmas in just two days it's time for hot chocolate, fairy lights and Christmas movie Marathons! Every year I make a list of my favourites and try to watch them all! ❤️ I haven't been posting lately so I decided to write two posts in today. My New Years resolution is to post more often ! ❤️
Here are my 10 favourite Christmas movies (Not in order):

1: The polar express.
I got this movie as a DVD one Christmas and ever since then I have watched it with my sisters every year!

2: Home alone 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Who doesn't watch home alone at Christmas! Definitely a favourite of everyone!

3: The Santa Clause 1 and 2.
I have watched the Santa Clause every single year without doubt.

4: Christmas with the Kranks.

5: Deck the halls.
Still wishing my house had that many lights!

6: Elf.

7: Arthur Christmas.

8: Frozen.
It's a movie that many people hate because of the well known song "Let it go" but let's face it, we all love it 😉.

9: Love actually.
I LOVE this movie. I have to admit I watch this one all year around.

10: The Holiday.

Vanilla Cupcakes with Buttercream icing.

Hello!
My favourite thing to do is bake and I thought I would share my favourite cupcake recipe. These cupcakes are very easy to make and they taste amazing :)

Ingredients:
->Cupcakes:(Makes 12)
- 110g butter/margarine
- 110g caster sugar
- 2 free range eggs
- 1-2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 110g self raising flour
- 1-2 tablespoons milk

->Buttercream icing:
- 335g icing sugar
- 150g unsalted butter
- 1-2 tablespoons whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sprinkles to top
*Piping bag and icing nozzle.

Method:
(Cupcakes)
-Preheat oven to 180°C.
-Cream the butter and the sugar.
-Add the eggs and the vanilla extract and mix.
-Add in the self raising flour a little bit at a time and mix.
-Then add the milk and mix.
-Spoon the mixture into the cupcake cases and put them into the oven for 10 to 20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
-When the cupcakes are done leave them on a wire tray to cool.

(Buttercream icing)
-Cream the butter until it is smooth. The butter should turn a paler colour then you know it's time to add the icing sugar.
-Sieve the icing sugar and add it to the butter bit by bit. Make sure it is fully mixed.
-Add the vanilla extract and the milk and mix.
-Put the icing into a piping bag with an icing nozzle.
-Begin icing the cupcakes and decorate with sprinkles!

**If you have leftover buttercream icing you can store it in the fridge for 3 days, or the freezer for about 3 months!:) ❤️

I hope you like this recipe as much as I do!

Nail polish reviews!♡

Hello! In this blog post I will talk about the nail polishes I love and the ones I hate!
I love buying nail polishes and I thought it would be a good idea to do a review!:)

1: NYC Expert Last Nail Polish.
(109 Permanent Pink, 105 Lights-Camera-Glitter, 180 Cotton Candy)

I really love these Nail Varnishes!❤️ They are long lasting and barely ever chip!
NYC Expert Last Nail polish is very affordable and only €1.99. ✨ I highly recommend it. :)

   (105 Lights-Camera-Glitter)
This is the glitter nail varnish from the NYC Expert Last Nail Polish range.
It is really nice as an overcoat and has little specs on blue in it:)
It is well worth €1.99. ❤️ I wouldn't be surprised if Ke$ha used this!✨:'D
Although I find this very hard to take off but a good nail polish remover would work a charm!:)

2:Nail paint by Barry M.
(GNP 8 Grapefruit 334, TNP 8 Lady 337, GNP 11 Dragon 337, 350 Diamond Glitter, 272 Shocking Pink, 333 Black Multi Glitter, 303 Bright Purple)
As you can see I love Barry M Nail Polishes!:) They are long lasting and never chip. You can buy them in any pharmacy in lots of different shades. The basic Nail Paint is €4.59. This is not the cheapest nail polish to buy but it is worth it. ❤️

(337 Dragon, 334 Grapefruit)
Gelly High shine Nail paint.
Before I bought these I was so excited to try them out! Unfortunately I didn't get the result I was expecting! In my opinion, the Gelly High Shine effect wasn't as good as the Basic Barry M nail paint.
It still gave a nice shine but wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. This was a little more expensive than the basic Nail Paint by Barry M. It was €5.99.

(150 Red Glitter, 350 Diamond Glitter, 333 Black Multi Glitter)
Glitter Nail Paint By Barry M.
I really loved these Nail Polishes! These Nail polishes are amazing!❤️ In my opinion these are great colours for Christmas!✨ When I used these I put on two coats and I loved it!:) They were worth the price, €4.59 each. ✨

(TNP 8 337 Lady)
Textured Nail Paint by Barry M.
This was a nice Nail Polish. I used this as an overcoat. I didn't like it as much as the glitter Nail Paint By
Barry M but it still added a nice touch. :) This was also only €4.95. ✨

3:Angelica Nail Colour.
(109 Pepperment, 111 Bondi Beach, 85 Palma Violet)
I got these Nail Polishes in Penneys(Primark). These light pastel colours look really nice on. They did chip after a while but they were very cheap! Only €2.75 per bottle!✨ I would defiantly buy more!❤️

(109 Peppermint)
Angelica Nail Colour Soft Satin Matte Effect.
I was dying to try out a matte Nail Polish for ages! When I got this shade it looked a bit like tippex on my nails which wasn't a good thing! If it was a darker colour it would have looked nicer!✨I don't recommend this colour. This was only €2.75. ❤️

4:Essence Colour &Go.
(106 Free Hugs)
This nail polish is quick drying for when your in a hurry!✨ This is a really nice colour and was only €1.79. :) Unfortunately like any cheap nail polish this chipped after a while.

Thank you for reading I hope you enjoyed it!✨
See you soon!
